Job Summary
The Director of Women's Services is responsible for providing leadership, strategic planning, and operational oversight for the labor and delivery, postpartum, nurseries, and other women's health services departments. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care by driving quality improvement initiatives, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. The Director focuses on enhancing patient safety, optimizing resource utilization, and promoting professional development for staff, all while aligning departmental goals with the organization's mission and vision.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field required Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related filed preferred 5-7 years of clinical nursing experience in women's services required 2-4 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, including women’s services requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong understanding of Labor and Delivery, Post-Partum, Nursery and other Women's Services practices, and technology. Demonstrates ability to assess data, prioritize care, and plan interventions, as well as interact and educate patients, dependent on the age group of the population served (applicable to clinical job functions). Strong leadership ability with organizational, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Ability to analyze data and use metrics to drive decision-making and improvements. Ability to gather information, delegate and support teams. Ability to evaluate situations to make effective decisions, provide solutions and improve work processes. Excellent human relations, oral and written communications skills, and ability to meet customer needs. Ability to partner with customers, peer and others. Promotes the company's purpose and ambition. RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure BCLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) required and ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) required NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation issued by American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) required or NALS - Neonatal Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) required
