WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Job Summary Responsible for providing management, guidance, support, communication, and coordination of scheduling application (SmartLinx, etc.). Administers and maintains scheduling systems and vendor relations. Establishes, organizes, and supervises the education and training of the scheduling system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Roles and Responsibilities • Provides training and a climate for learning and facilitating the adult learning process of the Company’s scheduling systems (SmartLinx) by supporting, planning, and presenting educational activities. • Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, provides ongoing support of scheduling systems and the analysis of the effectiveness of educational activities to ensure and enhance educational development that promotes the effective use of the clinical systems by front line users. • Participates and identifies strategies for improving professional development activities, scheduling system practices, and effective system use by users. • Provides data and system reports to DVP, SVP and other Leadership as needed. • Evaluates factors related to effectiveness, delivering, and managing system use for professional development activities. • Responsible for the implementation of assigned scheduling educational program(s). • Organizes and assists in the development of training manuals and other educational materials. • Participates in the development and revision of Employee Services and clinical policies and procedures. • Ensures SmartLinx invoices are accurate and submitted to Oracle for payment in a timely manner. • Reviews job positions in ADP Vantage and SmartLinx to ensure accuracy and consistency of use; facilitates adjustments as needed. • Facilitates, coordinates and/or conducts training programs/meetings. • Establishes assessment tools and measure results of scheduling systems training programs. • Defines creative solutions to problems and guides user groups to the most appropriate solution. • Prepares detail designs of new systems and programs to meet user needs including project plans, timelines, technical task requirements, budgets and status reports. • Provides application support. Troubleshoots and resolves complex application issues. • Works with scheduling systems vendors to make decisions as needed. • Plans and schedules application development maintenance. Coordinates scheduling and implementation of systems and upgrades with business users. • Ensures all aspects of Payroll Based Journal are met and submitted to CMS in a timely manner. • Develops, tests, and deploys internal software applications, tools and custom reports. • Identifies and evaluates new products and upgrades, provides resolution for scheduling system problems. • Gather and compile information and analyze and adjust discrepancies. • Oversee direct reports and delegate tasks as necessary. • Conserves resources by adhering to financial stewardship using prudent judgment related to expense(s) incurred by the Company. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor Degree Experience: 3-5 years Physical Requirements Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
