Operations Director UKIE
Reporting to the General Manager of the Ecolab Pest Division, you will deliver a strategic approach to our service delivery across the UK & Ireland. The role will also be responsible for the organisation and delivery of the Business Support Services stream. The division delivers c.30,000 visits per month and over £1M+ in one shot revenue which needs to be planned in and delivered.
Your main tasks :
- Lead, motivate and develop the skills of a team of around 400 technicians and 35 managers.
- Guarantee the productivity of service teams and their safety in the field.
- Keep customer satisfaction at the forefront, responsible for customer retention.
- Accompany, coach, train and guide the activities of the Regional Managers in order to obtain the results expected from the teams.
- With the help of Regional Managers, lead and communicate regularly with District Managers, maintaining a strong commitment in the field.
- Maintain good relations with UKIE Senior Leadership Team
- Work closely with Sales, Operations Support and Customer Service teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety recommendations (customer site safety and road safety).
- In close collaboration with General Management, set monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
- Define and implement investment and action plans to enable the division to achieve its objectives, including recruitment requirements.
- Ensure that production targets are met in compliance with customer contracts, internal/external procedures and standards.
- Propose and implement new systems and tools to improve process efficiency and the achievement of objectives, change management.
- To work in partnership with Sales Management in responding to RFQs, any disputes and progress plans.
Profile required:
- 5 years' higher education, with a minimum of 5-10 years' experience in managing large teams, preferably in the service sector.
- Strong team management / leadership / change management skills
- Strong focus on results and customer satisfaction
- Operational and strategic vision
- Ability to analyse and summarize
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Driving license
