POSITION OVERVIEW:

Directs practice operations to ensure accomplishment of objectives of services in the ambulatory setting. Recommends practice objectives, develops and implements actions through short and long-range planning in order to achieve and maintain growth. Continually evaluates practice strategies and plans to meet changing national, state and local needs. receives direction from Senior Director of Clinical Operations and Providers.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or other healthcare related field, required Master's degree in Nursing or other healthcare related field, preferred

EXPERIENCE:

Physician practice operational and management experience in outpatient and ambulatory setting Experience in the development and management of ambulatory programs, preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Knowledge of program growth and development.  Knowledge of the purposes, organization, and policies of the community's health systems.  Knowledge of the policies and procedures of healthcare operations.  Knowledge of the principles and practices of employee development.  Knowledge of computer programs and applications.  Knowledge of concept of organizational development/practice management.  Strong customer service skills.  Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.  Skills in analyzing situations accurately and taking effective action.  Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, policy making bodies, third party payors, patients and the public.  Skills in exercising judgement and discretion in developing, applying, interpreting and coordinating departmental policies and procedures.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
