The Patient Access Director is responsible for the oversight of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department registrations, point of service collections, screening for financial assistance, and insurance verification for the Ascension St. John Business Center Building.
Here’s What You Can Expect
Direct and lead the patient access team in strategies associated with attaining ongoing client metric, production, financial, and other organization goals through the effective management of resources. Develop, recommend, and oversee the implementation and administration of policies and procedures to reduce denials and bad debt, improve cash collections, and customer service. Evaluate processes and procedures and coordinate with the management team to ensure efficient patient processing, bed utilization, and adherence to federal and local laws and regulations. Identify and implement process improvements to lower costs and improve services and patient satisfaction across the Health System with a goal of delivering the highest degree of quality service possible.Requirements:
HS Diploma/GED
At least 5 years of leadership experience within the healthcare industry.
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $109,118.00 - $141,475.00 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
