Director - Patient Access

Be apart of something great! **Position Highlights** **Position Summary:** The Director of Patient Access will assume overall responsibility for patient access operations including the Registration and PBX teams, Prior Authorization team, and Case Management team. The Director will lead the development and refinement of consistent scheduling, financial clearance, registration, and pre-service financial counseling processes. Additionally, manages implementation of those strategies, continually seeks to identify areas of opportunity aimed at growing patient revenue, reducing accounts receivable days and discharged not final billed days, and reducing patient access-related denials. The director will be responsible for integrating, monitoring and facilitating improvement in the overall quality, timeliness, completeness and accuracy of processes. The Patient Access Director provides valuable feedback to leadership that furthers continuous process improvement and the provision of high quality front-end revenue cycle processes. **Work Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 8-5 or as directed by CFO. **Education/Experience:** Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university is preferred; or up to five years of related experience and/or training is required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Minimum of five years leadership experience in healthcare, hospital/clinic experience required. **Licensure/Certification:** None required.
