Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Director of RDU Emergency Department for RWJ Somerset Medical Center.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Master s preferredCurrent New Jersey RN LicensureBLS required. (American Heart Association) ACLS required (AHA)Specialty nursing certification in ED or med-surg preferredA minimum of 2-3 years of nursing leadership experience in Emergency or Rapid Decision Unit

Scheduling Requirements:

Full Time 40 hours per week

Essential Functions:

Staff includes RN's, CNA's & Unit Secretaries.Director will manage the staffing, budget & quality measures of Emergency RDU UnitAn integral part of the Nursing Leadership Team at RWJ SomersetResponsibility for multiple teams who support daily essential patient care This individual is responsible to have 24/7 responsibility, recruit and manage multiple teams and improve quality and customer satisfaction,
