Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Director Patient Care for our Behavioral Health Unit at RWJ Somerset.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Master s preferredCurrent New Jersey RN LicensureBLS required. (American Heart Association)Board certification in nursing leadership and/or behavioral health preferredPrevious nursing leadership experience in an inpatient behavioral health and/or crisis setting required

Scheduling Requirements:

Full Time 40 hours per week

Essential Functions:

Staff includes RN's, PCA & Unit Secretaries.Director will manage the staffing, budget & quality measures of the UnitAn integral part of the Nursing Leadership Team at RWJ SomersetResponsibility for multiple teams who support daily essential patient careThis individual is responsible to have 24/7 responsibility, recruit and manage multiple teams and improve quality and customer satisfaction
