We want you to apply! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Director PCU is responsible to the Chief Nursing Officer for nursing services provided in the Med Surg department. The Nursing Director creates a common vision to facilitate quality improvement in the delivery of patient care in support of the organization’s mission, vision and values. The Director is also responsible for the supervision of assigned personnel. The position requires intimate knowledge of both department and hospital policies and procedures relevant to the delivery of nursing care. **What qualifications you will need:** + Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) required from American Red Cross or American Heart Association + Currently licenses as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice and/or active compact license, in accordance with laws and regulation. + Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Masters Degree required; Masters Degree preferred + 3+ years of nursing experience in an acute care setting required; 3+ years of nursing supervisory/leadership experience in an acute care setting required **Memorial Hospital** has provided quality healthcare services since 1969, giving patients access to highly-trained physicians and advanced technology.
