Compensation (Pay): $223,446 to $274,810/ yearly, based on experience. Plus $12,000 Directorship Lift.

Job Summary: The primary focus of this role is to lead and support the clinical infrastructure of the Pediatric Clinic at International Circle and drive program, process, and quality improvements to elevate all pediatric care at Peak Vista. This role works closely as a Dyad partner with the Pediatric Service Line Operations Director to support the Peak Vista mission and vision, facilitate quality, and patient & family-centered care outcomes including patient satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as a voting member of the Clinical Advisory Committee (CAC) Collaborate with other service line and medical staff department leaders to advance care delivery to pediatric patients. Responsible for providing overall medical leadership, standards of care, and integration of provider elements for the Pediatric Service Line. Facilitate and lead achievement of quality goals, including improved patient care, service line growth and compliance with regulatory/strategic accreditation standards such as HRSA, AAAHC, etc. Provides clinical direction and leadership to promote intradepartmental and inter-disciplinary communication and collaboration to enhance the quality and cost effectiveness of patient care. Actively participates in community and system wide initiatives to promote improved population health outcomes. Serve as physician champion for performance improvement, regulatory compliance related to physician matters, disciplinary matters, and complaint resolution. Participates in formulating and administering Peak Vista policies and developing long range goals and objectives. Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department progress toward stated goals and objectives. Interview, hire, and train pediatric providers at Peds IC; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline pediatric providers; address complaints and resolve problems. Responsible for the human, financial, and material resources as well as data and information Deliver the best outcomes and highest quality service. Enhance the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of the department by contributing to, and participating in, performance improvement projects Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required:

Strong leadership skills, knowledge, and abilities. Supervision Exercised: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Direct supervisory responsibility of all pediatric providers at Pediatric Health Center at International Circle. Ensures pediatric providers meet all required competencies.

Education/Experience:

Medical degree (M.D./D.O.) from an accredited medical school Board certification in Pediatrics Five years of experience as a board certified physician

Computer Skills: Intermediate - ability to access the intra/internet to manage timecard, review policies and procedures, and read company communications; use e-mail to communicate with co-workers, leadership, and other departments; use and create a variety of templates, complex tables, merges; manage table data, sort and filter merges, and also perform basic work with existing Macros; customize toolbars, import and insert graphs, embed Excel data, and elaborate reports; work with multiple worksheets, filter data, use integrate functions, and manipulate databases; customize templates and the PowerPoint environment, and to make a presentation interactive by using hyperlinks and action buttons

Certificates and Licenses: Current DEA registration; Current and valid/unrestricted Colorado medical license
