Serving the residents of Warren, Butler, and Southern Montgomery counties for over 40 years.Kettering Health Miamisburg, formerly Sycamore Medical Center, is a full-service hospital located minutes west of the Dayton Mall on Miamisburg-Centerville Road off I-75 in Miamisburg, Ohio. Job Summary
This position is responsible for all PFS Shared Services processes for the overall management of credits/refunds, customer service and self-pay to ensure Kettering Health receives maximum reimbursement (within compliance), cash is posted accurately/timely, and patient’s receive quality service regarding their accounts.




Required Skills
Knowledgeable in healthcare billing regulations, proficient in Excel and data analysis, coding knowledge a plus. Ohio Epic Revenue Cycle Users Group


Essential Functions

1. Knowledgeable of governmental and non-governmental billing regulations and compliant billing practices.
2. Possess strong analytical skills to identify areas in need of performance improvement and manage projects to implement changes with measured outcomes.
3. Align customer service initiatives to support and enhance the patient’s experience.
4. Innovative and creative ability to improve day to day work functions, for Customer Service, Cash, Credits/Refunds, and Self-pay
5. Ability to develop and implement departmental structural changes to allocate workload to align with industry standards.
6.Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and vendors to ensure KH receives the maximum reimbursement (within compliance) processes and credits/refunds are completed timely.
7.Directs the processing of refunds, credits and cash posting to ensure all payments/credits are posted accurately and compliantly.
8. All other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

Job Requirements
Minimum Education
BA Preferred, or 5+ years’ experience in billing management
Minimum Work Experience
Five to seven years of progressive management experience in patient accounting.
