The pay range is $131,000.00 - $236,000.00 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. Indirect Planning plays a pivotal role in optimizing Target's indirect goods supply chain, ensuring critical infrastructure and operational assets are forecasted, sourced, and delivered efficiently. As a leader at Target, you will: + Align Indirect Planning strategies with Procurement and Target Enterprise Services (TES) strategic priorities. + Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and belonging within Target and across our supplier base. + Champion key enablers, including technology, process efficiency, and sustainability, to enhance long-term business impact. **About You & The Role:** As Director of Indirect Planning, you will oversee all aspects of the enterprise-wide demand planning process, ensuring the right quantity and timing of indirect goods to support Target’s operations. This requires a high level of cross-functional collaboration, leveraging supplier data, internal business insights, and predictive analytics to optimize supply availability and financial forecasting. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and enhancing demand planning processes, ensuring they are strategically aligned, scalable, and technology-enabled. You will lead a team of highly skilled planning professionals, equipping them with modern tools, advanced analytics, and emerging AI-driven forecasting techniques. Minimum Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred. + 10+ years of progressive experience in demand planning, strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain strategy. + Proven leadership experience in leading large-scale planning operations, category management, or supplier strategy. + Deep expertise in planning methodologies, predictive modeling, and emerging AI-driven forecasting tools. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, optimize forecasting models, and drive data-informed decisions. + Experience implementing enterprise-wide technology solutions, including AI-powered demand planning platforms and procurement analytics. + Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with senior internal stakeholders and key suppliers. + Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams. + Ability to travel up to 10% per year and maintain a flexible work schedule around key negotiations and planning cycles. **Why Join Target?** At Target, you will have the opportunity to lead a transformational shift in Indirect Planning, leveraging data, technology, and innovation to drive strategic outcomes.
