POSITION SUMMARY

The Director - Product Management will drive the development of innovative mortgage and lending software solutions, with an emphasis on our full suite of public websites catering to our current homeowners, new customers as well as B2B audiences across our wholesale and correspondent lending channels. In this role, you will drive and inform the strategy on web optimization across SEO, lead generation, content engagement and self-serve resolution for loan servicing-oriented needs. As a key member of our growing fintech company, you will manage the product lifecycle from strategic planning to execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver product roadmaps that align with business goals and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B SaaS, fintech, or lending, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing products.

DESCRIPTION

Duties and Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision:Develop a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with company objectives and customer needs.Define and prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and market opportunities.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential gaps in the product portfolio.Product Lifecycle Management:Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation and design through to development, launch, and ongoing iteration.Create detailed product requirements and user stories, working closely with engineering, design, and operations teams.Monitor progress against development timelines and ensure products are delivered on time and within scope.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure successful product launches and enhancements.Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to translate customer needs into actionable product features.Foster a culture of collaboration and open communication across teams to drive efficiency and effectiveness.Stakeholder Management & Customer Focus:Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and leadership teams, to gather feedback and drive product improvements.Understand customer pain points, use cases, and workflows to ensure the product delivers value and solves real problems.Host regular stakeholder meetings and provide updates on product progress, key milestones, and next steps.Data-Driven Decision Making:Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and customer satisfaction.Use data analytics and user feedback to inform product decisions and iterate on features post-launch.Proactively identify and resolve product issues, leveraging metrics to determine areas of improvement and optimization.Market Research & Competitor Analysis:Stay up to date with the latest market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive products in the mortgage/lending software space.Analyze competitor offerings to differentiate the product and maintain a competitive edge.Use insights from research to identify new product opportunities and enhancements that meet evolving customer needs.Continuous Improvement & Innovation:Constantly seek opportunities to improve product management processes and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging team members to innovate and experiment with new ideas.Keep the product development process agile, flexible, and responsive to changing market conditions.Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.8+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in B2B SaaS, fintech, or proptech industries.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

Proven success in managing full product lifecycles from concept to launch, with measurable impact on business growth.Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments, such as start-ups or scale-ups.Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and scaled Agile practices.Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Figma, Productboard, or similar platforms.Technical aptitude with experience collaborating with engineering teams on software development projects.Leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Customer-centric mindset with the ability to translate customer needs into actionable product features.Business acumen and ability to make data-driven decisions that balance business needs and technical constraints.Experience in the mortgage and lending industry, with a solid understanding of financial products and regulatory requirements.Experience managing offshore development teams and working with distributed teams across time zones.Experience working with UX/UI teams to ensure a seamless user experience.Exposure to high-growth environments where adaptability and innovation are critical for success.

Base Compensation:

$180,000.00 - $220,000.00 USD Annual

Additional Compensation:

In addition to base compensation, the individual in this position will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
