Our client is seeking a Director Project & Construction Management to work in Hsinchu City, Taiwan. Candidates must have experience working in the semiconductor industry and strong verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and in English. 
The Project & Construction Management Director (PCMD) will have overall responsibility for- Successful planning, Execution, Monitoring- Control and closure of the Taiwan project portfolio and must have a combination of skills including an ability to ask penetrating questions- Detect unstated assumptions, and resolve conflicts, as well as more general management skills- To deliver the project portfolio to the satisfaction of both the Clients- Stand by your own convictions, decisions and principles Is comfortable in taking tough decisions backs up conclusions with evidence accepts responsibility and is accountable for the outcomes of work adapts communication and behavior according to audience/readership- Uses knowledge and experience to influence others adheres to clients code of professional conduct maintains consistently high standards of work, loyalty, honesty and commitment Is approachable and open with information does not promise what cannot be delivered- Striving constantly and looking outward to lead the development of creative solutions fosters an environment where change is welcomed, and people feel confident about suggesting ideas.
