Summary of Role
This position has responsibility for GLOBALFOUNDRIES' Fab Quality processes reporting directly to the VP of Quality. The role includes close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to meet our Quality requirements.
Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible to meeting Quality KPIs and drive continual improvement actions in concert with stakeholders
Partner with key stakeholders to enable solutions to customer and fab challenges
Drive Quality strategy to reduce variation in concert with manufacturing engineering utilizing preventive techniques of LEAN 6-sigma, FMEA, and structured problem solving.
Mentor and coach engineers, technicians, and managers to achieve Fab and corporate quality goals including driving specific employee development plans
Engagement as a member of the site leadership team
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited College and or University in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or Related Discipline.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing quality systems, engineering, process development, integration, or yield
5 years of managerial experience
Demonstrated excellent analytical skills
A broad knowledge of Fab processes and equipment will be a competitive advantage as well as previous Quality Management System (QMS) experience
Demonstrated ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization particularly in a global environment and experience in working with external stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Engineering or Science or a relevant technical discipline
Relevant experience across a broad spectrum of fab manufacturing organizations including manufacturing engineering, integration, characterization
Experience in the driving multi - functional groups in achieving goals and KPI
Candidates will be judged on their leadership and ability to promote high performing, diverse teams
Candidates will be considered based on their demonstrated people and technical management skills
Expected Salary Range
$163,000.00 - $285,500.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
