The Role
The Director Quality Strategy, Japan role requires a deep understanding of the global life sciences quality space and associated applications including quality content management and quality management systems. The role will be responsible for growing Veeva’s quality market share. The individual will have the opportunity to work with a team of Life Sciences industry and technology A-players, who, together, are bringing the next generation of quality applications and capabilities.Responsibilities Responsible for growing and sustaining the Japanese market for Veeva’s Quality applications including quality content management, QMS and Training (Learning Management System)Provide thought leadership and act as a trusted partner to sales and sales consulting in helping define sales strategy to drive new opportunities in the quality spaceProvide business and technology expertise to the product team in support of new or enhanced features and functionality in quality operations applicationsDevelop strategy and messaging for customer adoption of new features and functionality for new and existing customer basePresenting at industry conferences, leading webinars and authoring articles for industry publicationsRequirementsDirect experience in Japan with GMP and both quality content management and quality systems processes5+ years experience in enterprise Software, Technology Consulting, Life Science, or related Quality space, including at least several years at a Consulting or Software firm5+ years experience working directly with QMS and quality content management technologiesNative Japanese speaker; be able to read and write EnglishStrong critical and analytical thinking, willing/able to dive into detailsCan articulate opinions and discuss sometimes conflicting viewsAbility to travel for customer meetings and presentationsVeeva’s headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.
