In support of this goal, the PKPD & Pharmacometrics (PMx) organization provides leadership and technical expertise to support the discovery and development of new medicines from preclinical lead molecule identification to clinical post-drug approval, with the goal of identifying and developing the right drug with the right dose for the right patient using model-informed drug research and development (MIDD) approaches. To further advance the science in this subject area, we are seeking a scientific director who will lead a group of quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) computational scientists in supporting the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise a group of QSP scientists, with associated responsibilities including performance, resource allocation and staff development.Provide scientific leadership to project teams to support the selection of the right target, molecule, dose, patient population, and development strategies.Develop and implement modeling strategies, contribute to project team discussions, and guide decisions with quantitative approaches into drug discovery and/or development Collaboratively develop platform models and modeling workflows that extend across multiple projects and phases of discovery & development. Communicate quantitative data, both internally and in the scientific communityBasic Qualifications:
PhD in Engineering, Biology, Computational Sciences, Mathematics, Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant work experience with quantitative systems pharmacology modeling (QSP) in industry or academia. Master’s degree with 10+ years of industry experience and demonstrated impact (e.g., publications)Additional Skills/Preferences:
