Summary
Oversees managers and staff to meet productivity standards. Manages departmental operations and oversees compliance with regulatory agencies and hospital/departmental policies and procedures.

Job DutiesManages onboarding, termination, discipline, performance review, and other management responsibilities for direct reports. Maintains and/or supervises maintenance of records for direct reports and staff including orientation, competency, performance appraisals, sick occurrences, and vacation. Develops annual labor, operational and capital budgets, and ensures department meets budgeted volume, revenue, and scorecard targets. Evaluates compliance with budgets on a monthly basis and develops strategy for promoting continuous growth of the department. Collaborates with Administrator of Rehab Services & lateral service line leaders to identify potential areas for market expansion. Prepares reports and audits processes and procedures to ensure operational efficiency & compliance. Supervises and reviews managers and provides assessments of each managers performance at least once annually.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree Physical or occupational therapy (accredited by APTA or AOTA) 3 years Rehabilitation management Knowledge of patient care using developmental perspective. American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire OT - Licensed Occupational Therapist - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire or PT - Licensed Physical Therapist - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
Preferred QualificationsMaster’s Degree Physical or occupational therapy with business coursework
Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
