**Job Overview:**
The Director of Respiratory Services is responsible for the daily operations of the Respiratory Care Department, including all administrative, fiscal and technical activities to ensure the efficient provision of high quality health care services. The Director is responsible for quality control activities, performance improvement and clinical operations of the department.
**Qualifications**
**Education:**
Bachelor’s Degree or Minimum of seven (7) years of clinical experience or Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience.
**Required:**
Minimum of seven (7) years of clinical experience or Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience. Directorial skills; communication skills; teach/instruct; technical and clinical expertise, manual and finger dexterity; mechanically included.
Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
Licensed by the State of Pennsylvania
Registered with the NBRC
Current BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications and must be completed prior to end of orientation period.
