The ICS Risk & Control Operations team is responsible for execution of complex risk and control programmes and initiatives across our business.

ICS is looking for a Director of TLM and Outsourcing to lead a diverse team of high-performing professionals focused on ensuring enterprise policy and regulatory requirements related to third-party risk and regulatory outsourcing are embedded in the day-to-day operations of our organization. It will involve extensive collaboration with multiple partners across numerous business units, functional areas, and geographies.

The Director, TLM and Outsourcing will:

Serve as the go-to subject matter expert within ICS for Third-Party Lifecycle Management (TLM) and European Outsourcing Ensure all activities & guidance provided are in alignment with policy and regulatory standards Support with design and dissemination of targeted training and awareness programs to increase understanding and management of third-party risk within ICS Consult on the design and implementation of controls tailored to third-party risk and affiliate outsourcing Raise awareness and educate our business and legal entities on third-party and outsourcing requirements and identify and drive improvements to ensure robust risk management Oversee key risk indicators and track emerging risks, delivering insightful reports to leaders and risk committees Highlight critical risks and provide actionable recommendations for mitigation Partner with risk stripe experts in first, second and third line to ensure the right risk treatment for outsourced services Lead key strategic projects through inception to deployment

 

Required Qualifications: 

Experience in risk management, preferably within financial services, and understands critical risk management lifecycle activities Excellent project management, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels Leadership and collaboration capabilities, with demonstrable experience in building productive partnerships across the business, legal entities, lines of defence and enterprise policy and risk stripe teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively Strong understanding of operational and regulatory risks Demonstrated history and ability to manage large teams, spread over geographies and with varying backgrounds

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Mgmt., or related field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MSc) or certifications are advantageous Experience in at least one of the following: Serving as the go-to subject matter expert pertaining to specific operational risk types Ensuring activities are in alignment with standards set by regulators or enterprise policies
