Develops and leads execution of the sales strategy for designated market segment(s). Leads sales team to drive revenue and margin growth and achieve the company's sales and profitability goals. Manages assigned sales pipeline and provides leadership and coaching to the sales team. Develops and maintains strong relationships with key customers, understanding their evolving needs, and driving sales growth within their assigned market segment(s). 

Responsibilities Develops and implements the sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth objectives for designated market segments. Serves as an escalation point to resolve issues and ensure customer expectations are met. Analyzes sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Identifies and pursues new sales opportunities within existing accounts, as well as prospective customers. Visits customers and conducts manufacturing facility tours as needed. Maintains and reviews records of customer interactions, sales activities, and relevant account information in the company’s Customer Relationship Management system. Provides regular reports to senior management on market segment sales performance, sales pipeline, and market trends to management. Analyzes sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develops strategies to drive growth. Performs full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; performance management; department budget. Performs other duties as assigned, which may include leading projects of varying scale or scope.  Qualifications

Job Skills Requirements 

Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong leadership and management skills including developing and coaching others. Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers at all levels. Demonstrated ability to use Customer Relationship Management software and data analysis tools to manage a sales team. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and understanding of engineered components. Ability to travel 10%, sometimes on short notice. 

 

Education Requirements 

Bachelor's degree in engineering or business-related discipline, or equivalent education and experience. 

 

Experience Requirements
