Sales Director Enterprise – NSW & VIC 

Position Overview:  The successful candidate will lead a team of 7+ account managers based in Sydney and Melbourne to drive incremental growth in this market segment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assigned product sales and services across revenue across these regions. The position reports to the VP ANZ region. The Director will be a key member of ANZ leadership team.

Key Responsibilities: 

Developing the regional sales strategy and direction for driving incremental growth this segment and ensuring the growth aligns with the global sales strategy and regional customers’ demand.  Applying both tactical and strategic go-to-market models aimed at growing the customer base both in the short and long terms to drive healthy revenues, customer growth, and customer satisfaction and retention. Developing new and incremental business, including penetrating strategic new logos, selling transformation technology in existing accounts, and striking large and complex deals in partnership with area leaders, sales, engineers, and services. Influencing, engaging, and enabling appropriate partners and channels in support of our go-to-market strategy. Aligning with the product divisions, marketing, channels, customer services and operations to ensure business needs in Australia are exceeded.   Enabling sales growth in the field by providing guidance, advice, training, and cadenced communication to the team and other teams across ANZ and the world.   Driving performance, team development and talent acquisition. Challenge the status quo and continuously identify processes and approaches to be improved or enhanced. Develop and execute the Australian plan to drive growth and share of wallet.

 Ideal Experience: 

At least 10+ years of direct sales and leadership experience. Experience selling complex solutions to service provider customers is required. Able to work and achieve the desired result in a complex and matrix organization. Deep understanding of the NSW & VIC Enterprise Networking market segment. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders at senior levels. Strong business acumen coupled with the ability to adapt to changing business conditions to offer our clients & stakeholders exceptional service and meet our business objectives. Strong leadership with the ability to inspire members in direct and extended teams. Executive presence with excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate complex topics. Demonstrable track record of building and growing new and high-achieving sales teams for long-term success.
