Director SAP Program

PRIMARY PURPOSE:  Directs the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of SAP S/4 HANA and ERP Central Component (ECC) projects and ongoing support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads strategic SAP projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategy.Engages with Sedgwick business and IT teams to translate key business goals into SAP solutions.Provides subject matter expertise in SAP, assisting Sedgwick in improving business processes.Defines project scope, estimates and project plans, incorporating all project variables and risks.Establishes measurable criteria for deliverability, performance, maintenance, design, and costs.Manages and mentors Sedgwick SAP and 3rd party on-shore and off-shore technical staff, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.Designs, builds, tests, and deploys SAP solution components globally, ensuring seamless integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including 3rd party consultants.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.  SAP BRIM certification is a plus.

Experience

Ten (10) years of related experience, to include at least five (5) years of SAP FICO and BRIM Solution Components experience and SAP Activate / Agile / Hybrid-Agile methodology frameworks, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.  

Skills & Knowledge

Deep knowledge of SAP FICO and BRIM Solution Components, including Subscription Order Management (SOM), Convergent Charging (CC), Convergent Invoicing (CI), Contract Accounting (FI-CA), and Revenue Account Reporting (RAR)Proven knowledge of SAP, including SAP FI-CO, FI-CA and BRIM, in a hands-on consulting capacityDemonstrated ability to lead full-lifecycle SAP implementationsDevelopment using HANA, Sybase and SQL Server databases in Linux and Windows environmentsStrong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor technical staffExcellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with all levels of industry audiences, clients, and internal staffExcellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skillsPC literate, including Microsoft Office productsAnalytical and interpretive skillsStrong time management and organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsProven management/leadership skillsExcellent negotiating skillsAbility to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reportsAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
