Our Opportunity Summary:

As the Director of Global Silicon Supply Planning, you will be responsible for developing and leading a team to successfully orchestrate the silicon supply planning activities! You will be required to work collaboratively with cross-functional team members across Global Supply Chain, Worldwide Fabs and Assembly & Test team members, to ensure that we are meeting both the strategic & tactical objectives of the business as well as the transformation objectives of the organization!

What’s Encouraged Daily:

Weekly provides a wafer plan to all the fabs for all Micron products

Position wafer supply and inventory to meet revenue plan objectives

Own weekly wafer supply response to meet forecasted demand, sales orders, and inventory safety stock requirements across all product segments

Lead weekly reviews with Fabs on demand/supply balance, identify and collaborate with Fabs to resolve any constraints, expedite wafer supply (if needed), identify any re-probe requirements

Help facilitate business demand simulations and manage the associated wafer supply changes

Lead weekly metric reviews and develop action plans for any metrics that are not meeting targets

Orchestrate activities across Global Operations teams to ensure that wafer supply risks are mitigated, and we can quickly respond to opportunities

Lead business transformation efforts to ensure that our people, processes, and systems are aligned with current and future business objectives

Work collaboratively with other Supply Planning Directors to optimize the end-to-end supply network across our memory and storage product lines

Work collaboratively with your team and other key customers to define continuous improvement activities across the supply chain planning and execution processes

Lead teams, set direction and hold team accountable for meeting objectives and deliverables while delivering on business result

Attract, develop, manage, and retain top supply planning talent in the organization

How To Qualify:

At least 12 years of hands on work experience in supply chain planning, material management, order management or manufacturing planning/engineering functions

Master’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or any other comparable field of study or equivalent experience

Preferably have strong supply chain planning systems experience (SAP and/or Blue Yonder/JDA)

Preferably have some experience with wafer manufacturing/planning

Demonstrated ability to lead, implement and thrive in uncertain environment and able to solve sophisticated business problems

Proven facilitation skills including the ability to build consensus, and resolve conflict across peer group and executive management teams

Proven track record of building highly effective and engaged teams

Must be able to comfortably work across organizational boundaries and geographies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
