The Director - Support Services in the South Region is responsible for financial management and quality service of the assigned departments including Environmental/Linen Service, Food Services, Transport, Guest Relations, Volunteer Services, Supply Chain, and Clinical Engineering. This leader is responsible for maintaining cleaning standards, safety requirements, blood and body fluid precautions, consistent department quality standards and state, federal and local regulations. The Director implements improvements that result in quality service and facility cleanliness. Th Director hires, trains and monitors work force productivity and effectiveness. The Director – Support Services participates as a member of the Senior Management Team of the organization and acts as Administrator on call.

Candidate Qualifications
Candidates for the position will be selected from a diverse pool and will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field plus 2-4 years experience in a management or supervisory or leadership role is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable job knowledge can be acquired.
• Masters Degree and/or Registered Dietitian with Indiana Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of The Joint Commission standards and Life Safety Code are preferred.
• Knowledge of foodservice safety and sanitation requirements preferred.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience required.
