The RoleDirects and coordinates all activities within the Surveillance Department which includes the surveillance of the operation of table games, slot machines and the operation of the cashier's cage. Be prepared with solutions and make sure you are always ready for any problems that may arise.Responsibilities: Formulates surveillance policy within established Company standards.
Ensures the detection of cheating, theft, embezzlement and other illegal activities in the casino, count rooms, slot booths and cashier's cage. Monitors compliance with property Internal Controls. Notifies proper management, the Casino Control Commission, and the Division of Gaming Enforcement upon detection of illegal activities. Formulates standard operating procedures for the department. Responsible for audio visual taping of activities in the count rooms and video taping of illegal and unusual activities monitored. Observes activity in offsite Williams WAP monitor and server rooms. Supervises the Surveillance Shift Supervisors and all other Surveillance Department staff. Responsible for the communication in writing of accurate and verifiable information regarding casino patrons to the credit manager which may be relevant in determining a patron's credit worthiness. Reports to the TRWH Audit Committee regarding matters of policy, purpose, responsibilities and authority and reports to the VP and General Manager for administrative matters and daily operations.OTHER PERTINENT DATA:
The TRWH Audit Committee, based on the recommendations of the Chief Gaming Executive, is responsible for evaluating the performance of the Director of Surveillance, determining salary and bonuses, as well as making all determinations with regard to hiring and firing of this individual. Will report any findings under the Williams WAP monitor and server rooms to the CCC, DGE and Compliance Officer. Other Duties as assigned. NOTE: EMPLOYEES MUST ADHERE TO THE REGULATIONS SET FORTH IN N.J.A.C. 13:69D-1.10 and 1.11 AND MUST SIGN AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THESE REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO BEING EMLOYED IN THE SURVEILLANCE DEPARTMENT.Qualifications: A broad knowledge of games and casino rules, procedures, and administrations.
Knowledge of the laws and regulations affecting the casino industry.
