Connect with your Talent Advisor for additional specifics._ **Responsibilities** **Summary:** The Director - System Alignment will play a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Vice President (EVP) of Finance and Finance Leadership Team (FLT) by leading and managing high-impact projects that align with the strategic goals of the finance department. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. + The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in project management within a finance or related environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead and oversee multiple finance-related projects, from inception through completion, ensuring alignment with the EVP and FLT’s strategic objectives. Develop detailed project plans, set timeliness, and define resources required for each initiative. + Work closely with the EVP and FLT to prioritize projects, manage workload, and develop strategies that support the overall goals of the finance department and the organization. + Serve as the primary liaison between the EVP, FLT and project stakeholders. Facilitate regular updates, meetings, and communications to ensure transparency and alignment across all parties. Collaborate with internal communications as needed in organizational communications. + Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any issues that may impact delivery. + Collaborate with finance teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget. Prepare financial reports and analysis for the EVP & FLT to support decision-making processes. + Continuously evaluates project management processes and tools, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. + Manage and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and professional growth **Requirements** Education: + High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management. **Additional Preferences** + PMP certification a plus. **Why Join Our Team** Ascension associates are key to our commitment of transforming healthcare and providing care to all, especially those most in need.
