Aspirus Health in WAUSAU, WI is seeking a DIRECTOR- SYSTEM PERIOPERATIVE SERVICES to join our REGIONAL MARKETS team!

The Director-System Perioperative Services is accountable to for leading the advancement of surgical services in the delivery of high quality and effective patient care to achieve results consistent with the goals of Aspirus. The Director-System Perioperative Services provides technical, regulatory, and clinical leadership and support as a subject matter expert to the surgical services departments. This position works collaboratively with the Aspirus Medical Group (AMG), Service Line Administrators, and System & Business Unit leadership to plan, coordinate, and direct the technical, clinical, operational excellence and efficiency of surgical services in accordance with best practices and Aspirus’ strategic plan, archetypes, and priorities.

HOURS: Full Time, 1.0 FTE

Experience/Qualifications

Knowledge of standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree in a clinical field.Master’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business or other health-related degree is preferred. A minimum of five years’ management experience as a director or higher within surgical services specialty is required.Broad experience in administrative management of multiple facilities required.Lean training and/or process improvement experience/certification desired
