Position Overview:

SUMMARY (Basic Purpose of the Job)

Directs the organization’s talent strategy activities and sourcing team by creating and implementing strategies to attract, retain and develop top talent. Identify key talent needs, and address gaps through innovative strategies. Leverage data and analytics to optimize recruitment processes and drive proactive talent planning.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Healthcare Administration, Business or a related field.

Experience:

Seven years human resources leadership experience. Five years’ experience in recruiting. Healthcare experience preferred.

Other Credentials:

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong knowledge of employment law and a strong understanding of current employment regulations and compliance issues. Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and organizational skills.

Special Training:

Experience with progressive recruitment technology, social media, networks and professional platforms.

Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities:

Ability to develop and maintain highly effective relationships, externally and internally. Solid sense of confidentiality and discretion.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSDevelops, organizes, and executes business plans to achieve annual talent strategy goals and strategic objectives. Creates innovative sourcing solutions that expand, deepen and enrich diverse talent pools.Provides leadership and direction to sourcing specialists to increase their capabilities and impact of talent strategy across the organization.Build innovative strategies to attract, source, and hire.Anticipates needs, forecasts staffing shortages, and formulates proactive short and long-term strategies to meet the needs of the organization. Build strong talent pipelines to satisfy current and future hiring needs for Capital Health.Supports the development, implementation, and assessment of both attraction, employer branding, and retention and recognition initiatives. Works to develop employer brand, create talent attraction campaigns, improve candidate experience.   Drives the development and continuous improvement of Capital Health's capability to attract and retain talent by working with Human Resources Business Partners and the various HR Centers of Excellence.Collaborates with various vendors and internal stakeholders to create an enterprise-wide employer brand and employee value proposition and subsequent deployment strategies to attract talent.Stays up to date on and communicates the latest trends in attraction and retention.Consults and partners with the VP, Human Resources, HR business partners and Capital Health leadership to define the organization's near and long-term talent acquisition objectives. Reports and manages weekly, quarterly and regular hiring, sourcing, retention and other key TA metrics and indicators.Serves as key partner to Capital Health leadership by providing market/industry/competitive intelligence and candidate insights to influence and help shape talent decisions.Participates in strategic discussions with key internal and external partners to continue to remain innovative and forward looking with talent strategy, tools and sourcing.Manages relationships with appropriate external organizations, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and outsourcing and supplier management in order to meet talent strategy and workforce hiring goals.Evaluates talent acquisition performance trends to recommend changes to the organizations recruitment strategies based on changing conditions and markets including but not limited to legislative and compliance requirements and industry best practices.Manages talent strategy annual budget and plans resources to execute against goals.
