We are looking for a dynamic Transition Excellence Team Leader to join our organization. This leader will play a crucial role as a member of the startup team, overseeing team member deployment, monitoring team performance, and ensuring compliance with transition team standards. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in specific areas—soft skills, hard skills, or general services—and contribute to the development of standards, playbook documentation, and best practices stewardship.

You will also travel to new sites or sites with transitions and gain exposure to multiple client environments enhancing your leadership, business acumen and problem-solving skills in manufacturing and distribution sectors. **Key Responsibilities** :
· Actively lead as a member of the startup transition excellence team, taking a hands-on approach to team deployment and performance management.
· Monitor team performance metrics to ensure compliance with established transition team standards.
· Serve as a subject matter expert in designated areas, providing guidance and support to team members.
· Collaborate with team members to develop and refine operational standards and best practices.
· Document processes and contribute to the creation and maintenance of playbooks to support team consistency and efficiency.
· Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance team skills and adherence to standards.
· Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages open communication and continuous improvement. · Extensive travel as needed, approximately ~3 weeks per month, most months
**Basic Qualifications** :
· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
· Proven experience in a team lead or supervisory role, preferably within a startup or transitional environment.
· Strong knowledge of team dynamics and performance monitoring.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
· Experience with playbook development and standard operating procedures.
· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.
· Willingness to travel at least ~2 weeks per month as needed, with time at home ensured
**Preferred Qualifications** :
· Degree in business, operations, or engineering; advanced degree a plus
· Experience leading or participating in large scale projects and/or startups in both new construction phase, greenfield manufacturing sites and long-established sites
· Strong leadership skills, especially in newly formed teams, with experience leading teams within this context.
· Influencing: ability to navigate complex situations and conflict, influence without formal authority and handle tight deadlines with composure
· Process and standardization certifications and training (lean, kaizen, etc.)
