**Job Description**
We are currently recruiting for a **Director** to serve as the commercial asset lead for a new product in the United States market. This newly created position will report to the Executive Director, hematology lead for Human Health – US.
This product is currently in phase 3 development for the treatment of Essential Thrombocythemia (ET). It is expected to be the first entrant in the LSD1 inhibitor class, the only new mechanism of action for the treatment of ET in decades.
This marketing Director will have profit-and-loss responsibility, with end-to-end accountability for pre-launch prep and launch of this exciting new hematology-oncology asset in the United States. The Director will lead a cross-functional team, including both direct reports and an extended team within a matrix organization, to successfully address a high degree of complexity to maximize the number of patients with Essential Thrombocythemia (ET) who may be helped with this critical new medicine.
Primary responsibilities:
+ Building marketing strategies and engagement plans for each relevant external stakeholder, including scientific leaders, prescribers, other healthcare providers, and patients - along with their motivated supporters
+ Developing a holistic go-to-market plan, including key performance metrics, scenario planning, staffing and budget requirements for building marketing strategy and delivering both in-person and digital promotion
+ Forecasting, and collaborating with a cross-functional team to create pricing strategy and payer strategy
+ Defining dispensing channel strategy, which may include manufacturer support programs
+ Communicating in a concise, clear and compelling way to create the vision which will enable a large team to collaborate effectively to maximize our efforts to help patients with ET
+ Pioneering, learning, and pivoting as needed, while maintaining alignment with senior leadership through a series of critical pre-launch and post-launch milestones
**Minimum education required:**
Bachelor's degree
**Required experience and skills:**
+ Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience across marketing, sales, market access or related experiences in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries
+ Strong marketing skills including developing marketing strategies, performance tracking, analytics, competitive planning, and accountability for product growth
+ Ability to understand, interpret, and translate complex clinical data into clear communications
+ Strategic acumen with innovative mindset and ability to make critical decisions and recommendations among a range of strategic choices
+ Demonstrated excellence in project management and effectively managing multiple projects and priorities
+ Strong relationship skills, problem solving, innovative thinking, teamwork, emotional intelligence and trust-building leadership
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience presenting in high visibility settings
**Preferred experience and skills:**
+ Launching a brand or indication
+ Deep understanding of the US market, including the regulatory and provider environments
+ Hematology experience
+ People management experience
+ Experience with pricing, payer and distribution channels
+ Current digital promotion expertise
+ Familiarity with the agile working model

**U.S. Hybrid Work Model**

The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected US salary range:
$187,000.00 - $294,400.00
