Job Description
Cyient Utilities division works with some of the world’s largest Utilities companies, providing them solutions in GIS (Implementation, data management & data intelligence), digital solutions and finally, in upcoming areas like DERMS and microgrids.
We are looking for a dedicated sales leader to join our team in Europe. The sales leader will be responsible for building strong relationships within the client organisation(s), development and execution of account growth plans and finally, leading proposals and bids.
The individual in this role will be responsible for:
Development of new business opportunities / new client acquisition in the Utilities market within a geographical region (Europe)Develop and implement strategic business plans to ensure the expansion of Cyient’s business within the individual’s portfolioBuild and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their requirementsIdentify customer/market trends, competitive landscape and accordingly position Cyient solutions and services to Utilities customersPrepare rolling forecasts/budgets for revenue and order intakeKey metrics include revenue and order intakeRequirements:
Prior experience in business development on GIS-based solutions will be highly preferred.Exposure to Utilities, OEMs and partners within the Utilities space will be highly preferred.Ability to create winning proposals and commercial modelsAbility to network and create business development leadsShould be high on collaboration skills and be able to work in a matrix organizationAbility to work across time zones (Especially between Europe and India)Ability to travel frequently and meet with customers, partners and execution teamsSkills & Experience
