ING, Australia’s most recommended bank is seeking a Director or seasoned Vice President for our Asset Securitisation team based in Sydney, which forms part of our Global Capital Markets team in our Wholesale Bank.
You will be responsible for originating, structuring, and executing Asset Backed Securities (ABS) deals globally, with a particular focus on residential mortgages, auto loan and leases, equipment receivables, consumer receivables and a variety of other esoteric asset classes.
The Asset Securitisation team are a front office commercial unit which assists existing wholesale banking customers with the provision of asset backed funding solutions. The team has a core focus on securitisation structures including ING or ABCP funded asset backed/securitisation lending deals as well as publicly/privately placed ABS deals into capital markets.
It is a global team working collaboratively with Sectors, Bond/ABS Syndicate and Financial Markets colleagues mainly across the APAC region but also globally.

What you’ll do
What we’re looking for
Demonstrated track record of executing securitisation transactions, minimum 7 years’ experience required with ability to work under limited supervision.Excellent proficiency and technical skill in using Excel and Bloomberg.Strong written and oral communication skills.Must be highly detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Demonstrated expertise in analysing ABS transactions, have an ability to develop, maintain and use complex spreadsheet and cash flow models related to securitisation dealsDeep understanding of rating agency methodologies and rating process for a variety of asset classes including Residential Mortgage Backed Securities (RMBS) and ABS Familiarity with relevant regulatory capital modellingStrong interpersonal skills used within a cohesive, global team environment and in client interaction.What’s in it for you?
