The Raytheon Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) Integrated Mission Systems (IMS) Organization has an immediate need for a Directorate Program Lead (DPL). In this role, the DPL is the program's primary leadership point of contact for all engineering LCE execution and performance. The DPL has overall responsibility for the technical, schedule, and financial performance of the LCE teams. The DPL is accountable to the Program Manager and works with the Engineering Program Chief Engineer (PCE) for program technical execution of LCE. The DPL works across Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and is a member of other boards affecting technical execution (e.g. Risk/Opportunity Board, engineering review boards (ERB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB)). The DPL serves as the primary interface for technical matters and provides the voice of the customer to ensure implemented engineering solutions meet in-scope requirements and customer expectations.

What You Will Do:

Coordinate Lifecycle Engineering (LCE) proposals to include flowing bidding guidance to the LEC team, develop compliant BOEs for DPL scope, ensure all LCE BOEs support the scope of the program and price to win at an acceptable level of technical risk, Integrate completed discipline bids and present bid to LCE leadership for approval, and oversee LCE inputs to the proposal cost volume.

Responsible for of LCE program performance, including technical budget/cost/schedule performance, monthly program reviews, EVM, EACs, LREs, Variances analysis, and collecting/reporting relevant performance metrics.

Oversee LCE program execution through developing and monitoring program risks and opportunities, ensuring all quality inspections and reviews are performed, coordinating activity of IPT disciplines to ensure technical/cost/schedule priorities are met, and monitoring and planned vs. required staffing and coordinating personnel availability to complete program requirements.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 (five) years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 (three) years experience

Experience with financial analysis

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within ones work area

BOE/Proposal experience

Experience with EVM

Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Works well in a team environment with frequent customer contact and have excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills

The salary range for this role is 85,000 USD - 179,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
