Disclosure Management Analyst

Work Location: Hyrbrid position – mostly remote however, will be required to be on site at least one day a week (based on business needs) at the Corporate Office located at 612 E Lamar Blvd, Arlington TX 76011.
Work hours: Monday through Friday. Variable hours between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Here’s What You Need
Education
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent REQUIRED or
Associate's Degree Health Information Management or related fields, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or Business preferred
Experience
3 Years Healthcare experience, health Information Management experience, preferably Release of Information, paralegal, business office or disclosure management REQUIRED
Licenses and Certifications
RHIA - Registered Health Information Administrator Upon Hire preferred or
RHIT - Registered Health Information Technician Upon Hire preferred or
Other CHPS - Certified in Healthcare Privacy & Security Upon Hire preferred
Skills
· Knowledge of Health Information Management operations, HIPAA, Cures Act, and HITECH regulations.
· Experience in fulfilling requests for health records or information from various legal requesters and auditors.
· Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences and knowledge levels.
· Must possess critical thinking skills and the ability to problem solve independently.
· Must possess excellent computer skills, attention to detail, effective organizational and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, utilizing all applications provided for reference.
· Must be able to read, comprehend, and apply established policies and procedures.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
· Experience working with electronic health record systems, document management systems, and databases. Must have working knowledge on managing databases and running reports.
· Strong communication, analytical, organizational, research and reporting skills.
· Self-starter initiative with the ability to meet and exceed deadlines, prioritize, multi-task and remain flexible.
