Disease Area Site Contracting Lead
As a Disease Area Site Contracting Lead works with cross-functional teams to understand and develop startup and site contracting strategies specific to a program or study. They manage timelines and escalations within the program or study for site contracts, confidentiality agreements and LOAs and ensure completion of all therapeutic area agreements. **What you will be doing:** + Understands therapeutic area timelines and activities required under site contracting and coordinated activities + Attend therapeutic area program calls with Clinical Operations Program Lead and other cross-functional team members to set strategies for program startup and amendment rollouts + Point of escalation for crossfunctional study team for site contracting concerns or issues on a specific program + Identifies and develops risk and mitigation strategies for the therapeutic area + Works with Site Contracting Regional Managers on process or performance issues identified + Participates in routine activation and timeline discussions as well as team meetings for studies within designated therapeutic area + Oversight of CTMS study / therapeutic level reports + Oversight of baselining site activation dates with startup + Development and reporting of program metrics to CBM Head + Attendance at CTAC and site selection discussions + Oversight of CDAs and LOAs timelines for a therapeutic area + Attendance at Site Engagement or Investigator Meetings to train and educate on Vertex templates and contracting processes + Provide routine therapeutic area updates and reports to Management as required **REQUIREMENTS** + Strong communication (written and verbal) skills to be able to interact with internal groups as well as external groups + Strong analytical capabilities + Advanced presentation skills + Able to proactively identify project opportunities, challenges/risks and implement appropriate actions with some supervision + Ability to work in a matrix, cross-functional team + Ability to understand, clearly articulate, and defend site contracting decisions + Thorough understanding of contracting and budgeting processes + Ability to provide high-level feedback + Can identify, communicate about, and propose solutions for any site issues that may arise **PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** + BS. or Advanced Degree + Minimum of 5 plus years experience in clinical development including knowledge of site contracts and budgets **What ICON can offer you:** Our success depends on the quality of our people.
