Summary
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for the Dishwasher Position for ASM Global F&B/Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center. Responsible for -- cleaning dishes, pots, pans, and flatware. Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen work areas to include trash removal, sweeping, mopping, general cleanliness of the kitchen equipment. Regular attendance in conformance with the policies established by SMG F&B is essential to the successful performance of this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintains sanitary and safe work environment.
Always maintains clean dry floors and walls , including sweeping and mopping.
Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
Washes pots, pans, trays, worktables, walls, ranges, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
Segregates and removes trash and garbage and place it in designated containers.
Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
Sets up, maintains, and works the dishwashing station at assigned events.
Informs the Chef and/or Sous Chef of items needed to perform the job.
Help keep all China, Glass, and Flatware in place and in order.
All other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred.

Skills and Abilities

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must have the ability to work late hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
