About the Role & Program:
Disney Entertainment Television develops and produces compelling programming and some of the most successful talked-about series on television today! The DET Communications department is responsible for handling all communication efforts for ABC Entertainment, Hulu Originals, Freeform, Onyx Collective and 20th Television. As the DET Communications intern, you would assist the department in all areas on a rotation schedule.
What You Will Do:
Rotate among various Communications teams within Disney Entertainment Television, supporting numerous leaders and project workBuild and maintain schedules and press lists; assist in writing press releases, loglines, press blasts and biosCurate and disseminate information to team, including daily press breaks and raves trackingSend materials to pressSupport team at publicity and related eventsContribute to brainstorming sessions and publicity strategy meetingsCollaborate on social media effortsRequired Qualifications & Skills:
Excellent writing, verbal and interpersonal communication skills working with colleagues across departments at all levelsHardworking, proactive, eager to learn and willing to take initiativeStrong attention to detail, well organized, with positive relationship building skillsAbility to take direction from multiple partners, balance projects, prioritize tasks while working in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based environment.Knowledgeable about social mediaAbility to handle confidential informationPrevious media/PR internship experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office programsEducation
Junior or Senior year preferredEligibility Requirements & Program Information:
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.Be at least 18 years of agePossess unrestricted work authorizationAdditional Information:
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internshipThe approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 through January 202Availability to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) in-office for the duration of the internship. Work hours are 9am-6pm PT, Monday - Friday, but may include some early mornings/nights/weekends.

The pay rate for this role in California is $22.00 per hour.
