About the Role & Program:
Disney Entertainment includes the company’s full portfolio of entertainment media and content businesses globally, including motion picture film studios, television divisions, and streaming! The Hive is the in-house Creative Advertising agency at Disney Entertainment. We specialize in creating marketing assets for all of the Disney brands, including Marvel, Lucasfilm, Disney Live Action, Disney+, Pixar, Disney Animation, 20th Century Studios, Searchlight, Disney Corporate and more.
Do you like movies, creating content, solving problems, and have an interest in seeing how the creative process works for advertising? Join our team as our producer intern! If selected for this role, you will report to the Business Operations Manager.
This internship is a full-time commitment in the Burbank, CA area from May/ June 2025 – August/September 2025.
What You Will Do:
Support all stages of AV marketing including asset gathering, motion graphic creation, editorial and finishing
Help track and maintain project related deadlines and project calendar
Learn how to assist in communicating project notes and stakeholder requests
Learn how to assist in coordinating logistics for all AV materials including music, copy, narration, motion graphics and other
Learn how to support the Producers in all aspects of a marketing campaign from Trailers, Creative Content, Digital and TV spots
Additional responsibilities will be assigned by the Business Operations Manager as needed
Required Qualifications & Skills:
High attention to detail and experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Experience working in collaborative environments and managing multiple projects
Makes good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and discernment
Open to feedback and constructive criticism
Desire to build experience in Creative Advertising
Loves Trailers!
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience working in the entertainment industry
Education:
Undergraduate students in their senior year pursuing a bachelor's degree in advertising, producing, or communication.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information:
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9am - 6pm PST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
The pay rate for this role in California is $22 per hour.
