About the Role & Program

This is a full-time 6-month internship (dates are June 14, 2025, through January 3, 2025).

What You Will Do

As an integral part of this organization, the Disney Live Entertainment team at Disney Signature Experiences is responsible for designing and implementing the creative and technical elements of all live show Entertainment offerings for the Disney Cruise Line fleet, island destinations, and other Disney Signature Experiences businesses as needed, as well as special event sites globally.

Providing administrative support throughout the production life cycle of assigned projects, scheduling production team meetings, recording and distributing accurate, concise notesGathering presentation materials, set up and strike all meeting needs and technologyAssisting in procuring items necessary for the production, following all appropriate policies and guidelinesMaintaining production schedules and communicationPreparing and providing consistent, timely event updates Completing all show or event production-related tasks as requested by those teams

Required Qualifications & Skills

Proven ability to create and follow agendas, facilitate meetings, address action items, take direction, meet deadlines, and complete tasks in a timely mannerDemonstrated ability to multi-task and deliver quality, timely work, within tight deadlinesDemonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Outlook, and Keynote presentation softwareProven ability in the use of collaboration tools and file-sharing programs with the willingness to learn new applicationsDemonstrated skills in coordinating meeting technology, such as conference calls, video-teleconferencing, and other virtual meeting connectivityDemonstrated problem-solving and ability to identify areas for continuous process improvementTrusted and respected team member that guides with integrity with the ability to handle/manage confidential information with discretionSelf-starter who takes initiative to assess needs proactively and provide resourceful solutionsProven ability to provide excellent service to Crew, Cast, Guests, Clients, and PartnersAvailable and willing to work weekends, holidays, and third shifts, as needed

Preferred Qualifications 

Proficiency in any additional languages (Mandarin, French, Japanese, or Spanish) 

Education 

Currently enrolled as a senior or graduate studentMajor or previous coursework in Stage Management, Event Management, or related field

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class at the time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.Be at least 18 years of agePossess unrestricted work authorizationHave not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College ProgramBe compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelinesFully available Sunday through Saturday, for the duration of the internship, 40 hours per weekAble to provide/have reliable transportation to/from workPossess a valid US driver’s license and have the ability to operate a company vehicleAble to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internshipAble to provide own housing for the duration of internship program in FloridaWe provide limited housing opportunities for Florida Based Professional Interns through American Campus Communities, for more information click hereThe pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $18.75 per hour.
