This is a full-time 6-month internship (dates are June 14, 2025, through January 3, 2026).

What You Will Do

The Visual Media Production team is responsible for of all elements of Post Production including art, animation, editing, and special effects.

Partnering with the Designers and Editors in the development, design, and creation of motion graphics, animation, and 3D assetsAssist with media management of deliverables through the Visual Media Production PipelineCreate auxiliary graphics for projectsHelp to build and maintain project tracking tools, grids, and documentationShadow Artists and Editors during the project work to learn hands-on techniquesUsing a variety of programs including Adobe Suite, Cinema 3D, Autodesk Maya, and various plugins such as Red Giant SuiteAttending and contributing to Disney Live Entertainment seminars and meetings

Required Qualifications & Skills

Understanding of Post Production with an emphasis on motion graphics and special effectsExcellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of entertainment technology and softwareCreative problem-solving skillsAbility to learn new software applications as appropriatePrevious experience in digital post production, project management, or the equivalentProficiency in Adobe Software Suite, Maya, and related toolsStrong work ethic with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExcellent multi-tasking skills and ability to quickly adapt, problem solve, and make decisions

Education

Junior, senior or graduate-level student pursuing a degree in Visual Media Production, Digital Production, Video Production or a related field

Preferred Education

Earning or completing MFA in Visual Media Production, Digital Production, Video Production or a related field

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class at the time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.Be at least 18 years of agePossess unrestricted work authorizationHave not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College ProgramBe compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelinesFully available Sunday through Saturday, for the duration of the internship, 40 hours per weekAble to provide/have reliable transportation to/from workPossess a valid US driver’s license and have the ability to operate a company vehicleAble to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internshipAble to provide own housing for the duration of internship program in FloridaWe provide limited housing opportunities for Florida Based Professional Interns through American Campus Communities, for more information click hereThe pay rate for Orlando, FL is $18.75 per hour.
