What You Will DoReviewing and presenting data for collective bargaining negotiations with entertainment industry labor unions.
Analyzing and drafting collective bargaining agreements.
Researching and writing analysis of applicable labor law.
Drafting responses to grievances, information requests and other legal documents.
Required Qualifications & SkillsPursuing a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree and currently enrolled at an accredited law school. In your 1L or 2L year at the time of the internship.
Relevant coursework in entertainment law, copyrights, trademark, intellectual property and/or negotiation theory/strategy
Experience with multitasking in a fast-paced environment and balancing multiple projects
Experience with researching and/or using a range of tools to acquire information and present findings
A detailed-oriented approach, especially when processing a large volume of documents
Collaborative teammate who can also work independently
EducationMust be enrolled in an accredited law school taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program
Completion of one or more years of law school in a current JD program at the start of the internship
Eligibility Requirements & Program InformationMust be at least 18 years of age
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional InformationThe approximate dates of this internship are May 2025 through August 2025
Able to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9am - 6pm PST
Must have reliable transportation to/from work
Must provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Los Angeles, CA area
