SkyHop Global is seeking a Dispatch Assistant Leader who will support the Dispatch Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the dispatch team. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can ensure efficient scheduling, effective communication, and high levels of service delivery. The Dispatch Assistant Leader will play a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence and supporting our growth objectives.
Support the Dispatch Manager in managing the daily operations of the dispatch team in a 24/7 environment. Ensure flawless, on-time performance for airline crews, utilizing a fleet of over 450 vehicles.
Support positive employee morale and quality customer service by setting a positive example for dispatch agents through consistent support and leadership.Proactively assess staffing needs as determined by service hours and peak call periods.Define and publish staff schedules based on service demand and in accordance with collective agreements.Ensure prompt investigation and resolution of complaints and incidents as relates to direct reports and in compliance with company policy.Ensure all safety regulations are being observed and all training methods are adequate and effective.Ensure dispatch protocols are in compliance with both client and company policies and procedures.Organize and coordinate dispatch agent training programs for new hires and refresher customer service training programs for department personnel.Prepare, verify, and authorize employee schedules and work records for payroll purposes.Monitor dispatch performance as it relates to driver incidents and other potential service disruptions.Monitor dispatch agents to ensure timely communication of passenger cancellations or changes as required.Provide dispatch coverage during peak service times and during employee shortages.Ensure dispatchers assign same-day trips to available and appropriate vehicles to ensure on-time performance, minimize wait and ride times, and maintain system productivity.Ensure dispatchers accurately and appropriately document daily events related to service.What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A supportive and collaborative work environment.The chance to be part of a growing company with a strong commitment to excellence.
