Description Position Summary: Dispatcher will oversee the coordination and dispatch of medical devices, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: + Coordinate and schedule the dispatch of dental devices and equipment to healthcare facilities and patients based on priority and urgency. + Monitor and track deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of service requests. + Communicate effectively with drivers, technicians, and other team members to manage real-time logistics. + Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including equipment logs, service reports, and delivery confirmations. + Handle emergency dispatch situations promptly and efficiently. + Liaise with customers to confirm delivery details and provide status updates as needed. + Perform regular checks on device inventory, including maintenance scheduling, to ensure readiness and compliance with safety standards. + Assist in the resolution of any delivery issues or delays. + Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and procedures related to the transport of medical equipment. + Provide administrative support for dispatch operations, including data entry and report generation. Requirements Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in logistics, healthcare administration, or a related field (preferred). + Proven experience in dispatching, logistics, or a related role, preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry. + Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment. + Proficiency in using dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and related technology. + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. + Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. + Familiarity with medical devices or terminology (a plus). + Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. ­Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
