Summary:The Dispatcher is a key role, responsible for is responsible for the day-to-day job assignment of field engineering technicians. The ideal candidate is a reliable, trustworthy individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment where collaboration and autonomy are valued.

*Starting at $22/hrPhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentWork is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.Lifting and/or occasionally moving up to thirty-five pounds can be expected.Required to drive, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; talk and hear. Body motions and movements include bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, pulling, kneeling, lifting, carrying, and pushing.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Communicates with client representatives for job assignments using a professional phone and email etiquette.Documents conversations with clients and prepares work orders.Coordinates job assignments in relation to technician locations to maximize production and minimize vehicle travel time and fuel usage utilizing online dispatching software.Coordinate and manage the schedule of all field techniciansDocuments technician's Paid Time Off (PTO) usageCoordinates laboratory sample retrieval (concrete cylinders, soil samples) and notifies the laboratory supervisor of pending rushesBuilds and maintains "team spirit" among the field techniciansMaintains close communication with Assistant Dept. Manager and Field Services Supervisor and respond to problems in the fieldMaintains log of Nuclear Device check in and out, distributes dosimeter badges to techniciansCommunicates with the Administrative Assistant assigned to project set up informationAssist, when necessary, the Productivity Project Manager with work orders and technician paperwork issues.For those clients requiring Purchase Orders, obtains, and organizes all purchase orders before scheduling a technician to perform work.Follows safety procedures.Other duties may be assignedRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.One to three years of related experience and/or training.Knowledge of field and laboratory procedures.Previous experience in the AE/C industry.Valid Driver's LicensePrior Logistics/Scheduling preferredWho We Are:UES provides essential engineering services for some of the most prominent and significant projects in the nation.
