Creativity - Stewardship - Impact - Integrity - Healthy Relationships What you will do + Coordinate daily truck dispatch schedules, ensuring safe, on-time delivery and pick-up of materials. + Support compliance with DOT regulations and driver hour limits. + Ensure transportation options adhere to Last Material Hauled (LMH) protocols and Antibiotic Free (ABF) practices. + Identify and manage backhaul opportunities to optimize loaded miles. + Accurately administer and maintain logistics data across various systems. + Provide on-call support during weekday evenings and weekends on a rotating schedule. + Develop and maintain initiatives aimed at reducing demurrage costs. + Support biosecurity initiatives by training third-party contractors (TPC) on expectations, managing infractions, and collaborating with the Quality Control department. + Track fleet updates in Samsara & Fleetio to monitor repairs, maintenance, inspections, registrations, mileage, and locations. + Oversee daily trailer check-in/check-out processes, audits, and accurate accounting of demurrage. + Maintain overall yard efficiency, including record-keeping for damages and necessary repairs for the fleet. + Manage the rail process, including tracking rail cars, handling demurrage, billing, and reporting. + Ensure compliance with Safe Feed/Safe Food policies to maintain Feed Safety and Food Safety. + Uphold company values in daily work interactions and responsibilities. + Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
