Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dispatch Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the scheduling of waste collection routes, dispatching drivers and work crews, and serving as the main point of contact between drivers, customers, and team members. This role involves monitoring and tracking the progress of waste collection vehicles, addressing any delays or issues, and performing administrative tasks such as maintaining records of customer requests and services performed.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Coordinate and manage the scheduling of waste collection routes.
+ Dispatch drivers and work crews efficiently.
+ Serve as the main point of contact between drivers, customers, and team members.
+ Monitor and track the progress of waste collection vehicles.
+ Address any delays or issues promptly.
+ Perform administrative tasks, including maintaining records of customer requests and services performed.
+ Resolve issues related to Mobile-Pak in the morning.
+ Assist with split commercial routes in the morning.
+ Toggle all roll-off work orders in real time.
+ Update roll-off inventory sheet in real time.
+ Call customers to run credit cards for overnight dumpsters.
+ Contact customers with on-call dumpsters that haven't been emptied for a long time.
+ Cover roll-off coordinator's responsibilities when needed.
+ Take general customer calls.
+ Manage roll-off email until 9am.
+ Monitor check-ins and investigate any drivers/routes with no route called in by noon.

Work Environment:
+ Hours: Monday - Friday, 5am - 1pm or 6am - 2pm
+ 1 Saturday shift a month - 5 hours (7am-12pm)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
