Engage with customers and customer facing employees to schedule and document product deliveries to customers and the transport of goods between facilities. Also responsible for directing the daily assignment of drivers and truck fleet.

What You’ll Do

As a Dispatcher, you will engage with customers and customer facing employees to schedule and document product deliveries to customers and the transport of goods between facilities. You will be responsible for directing the daily assignment of drivers and truck fleet through dispatch, route, and equipment usage planning. Other duties include:

Ensure compliance with applicable health and safety processes and performance standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations. Ensure compliance with applicable HSEQ Performance Standards, and site security program. Proactively work to achieve compliance with safety systems and ensure a safe workplace. Actively audits on-site safety in compliance to company and regulatory requirements. Performs Critical Control Verifications (CCV) and Safety System Shut Down (SSS) checks. Represents the company in dealing with wholesale and retail customers (including law enforcement sales) Accurately and correctly creating sales orders and bill of lading (BOL) in SAP, including proper quote references and service fees. Coordinates work schedules to maximize efficiency and safely meet customer service requirements and site operations tasks. Contributes to achieving budgeted profitability goals by actively managing cash fixed costs and staffing expenses. Monitor and approve payroll time reporting of direct reports. Monitor and ensure on time completion of mandatory training by staff. Provides accurate and timely documentation for shipping and receiving of goods. Ensures compliance to ATF regulatory law and ensures accurate inventory of explosives, including accurate cycle counts.

 

What We’re Looking For:

High School Diploma and or Trade school graduation / certificate of completion. 4+ years of related experience CDL Class A preferred (not but required) Demonstrated ability to lead manage and influence people. Highly organized with proven problem solving, scheduling, and planning experience. Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives. Must be at least 21 years of age. Prior heavy equipment and or heavy truck operator experience preferred. Prepared to work early AM shifts, outdoors in varied weather conditions. Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player

 

Applicable to California Applicants Only

Annual Salary Range*: $60,000 - $75,000

*Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level. The salary range is Dyno Nobel’s good faith belief at the time of this posting.
