Job Description
The Dispatcher will own all aspects of the transactional logistics schedule and office responsibilities for their assigned territory. This role is crucial in determining the optimal means of transportation, whether in-house or through vendor partners, to ensure cost and time efficiency for delivery, return, installation, service, removal, or relocation of units. This position directly impacts key performance metrics such as on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, office management, and team planning.
ResponsibilitiesDetermine optimal transportation means for delivery, return, installation, service, removal, or relocation of units.Manage employee health and safety by creating a safe workplace with Safety Save, training and observations, and regularly scheduled assessments.Ensure operating standards are conducted, supported by robust training and communication actions.Provide direct and indirect managerial oversight, assigning tasks, daily assignments, and other duties to drivers, field service techs, set up crews, and transportation coordinators.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma, GED, or 3 years of applicable experience.2 years of work experience.Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.Experience working directly with customers by phone and email.Strong customer service orientation, active listening, and excellent oral/written communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in data entry, dispatching, and inventory management.Work Environment
This position is onsite, with working hours from Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
