Waste Connections of Canada, a leader in non-hazardous solid waste management across North America, is looking for a **Dispatcher** to join our dynamic team! **What You’ll Do:** + Work closely within an Operations team comprised of seven staff as well as a field team of 30+ drivers. + Schedule and coordinate commercial waste collection across various lines of business. + Communicate with internal groups as well as customers by various means (email, phone). + Monitor daily driver progress, resolve issues, and maintain service standards. + Collaborate with internal teams to address service needs and resolve customer concerns. + Manage the routes and all major overhauls of route changes and geography within the Trux operating system. + Manage the day-to-day route closing and maintenance process. + Follow company policies. **Work Hours:** Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:30pm(the hours of this role may change with notice to better fit our operation, the current dispatcher hours are 8:00am-4:30pm) **What You Bring:** + 1 year of dispatch experience, or relevant industrial/logistic experience. + Strong time management, prioritization, and communication skills. + Proficient use of Microsoft Office required. + Working knowledge of operations system TRUX ideal. + Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. + A pleasant demeanor under pressure. **Why Join Us?** + Competitive pay and excellent benefits. + A supportive team environment that embraces a "work hard, play harder" culture. + Opportunities to grow with a company committed to sustainability, community involvement, and charitable giving.
